The Importance of the Four Mind Changings to Develop Pure Renunciation

Description

In this video teaching, Khenpo Gyaltsen discusses the outer preliminary practices, the four mind-changings. In order to progress on the path, particularly if we desire to practice high teachings like Mahamudra and Dzogchen, we need a stable sense of renunciation from samsara. Developing this renunciation allows us to begin the inner preliminaries in earnest, by creating a strong and stable sense of refuge and making pure bodhisattva vows to free all sentient beings of the sufferings of samsara.
