Butter Lamp Offerings at Asura Cave

Happy Full Moon day to you all. Today, we rejoice in making the first of the 100,000 butter lamp offerings at Asura Cave. We will offer 1000 butter lamps daily, which will be lit with aspirations prayers made by our retreatants for the benefit of all beings. We will continue to make these offerings for the next three and a half months.

If you would like to make an offering, please do so here. Together with offering butter lamps, remember to make aspirations. You can find concise and elaborate versions of lamp aspiration prayers featured on Lhasey Lotsawa.

May all beings benefit,

The Samye Team
