Remembering Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche

The 28th of December marks the anniversary of the parinirvana of Kyapjé Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche. Kyapjé Tsikey Chokling Mingyur Dewey Dorje was born in 1953 as the second son of Kyapjé Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. He was recognized and enthroned as the 4th authentic incarnation of the great 19th-century treasure revealer, Terchen Chokgyur Dechen Zhikpo Lingpa by His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa, Rangjung Khyapdak Rikpé Dorjé. He was the father of Phakchok Rinpoche and Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche.

On the 27th of December, the monastic sangha at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery completed the Ocean of Amrta (Ngakso) puja on the 25th of December. It is the first day of the three-day puja performed with boundless gratitude for the benefit of all sentient beings by making offerings to Rinpoche. Please enjoy the beautiful photographs of the puja. May everyone rejoice in this noble and virtuous occasion and dedicate merit to the benefit of all sentient beings.
