The Dawn of Dharma in Seville, With Online Teachings by Phakchok Rinpoche

Samye Institute’s Dharma Stream, the online program created by Phakchok Rinpoche, has started a new group in Seville, Andalusia’s capital city in Spain, organized and sponsored by the Asociación Bodhicitta Escola de l’Ésser.

Designed as a fortnightly program, the first series of Dharma Stream: The Dawn of Dharma, offers the possibility to study and practice Buddhist teachings progressively.

Phakchok Rinpoche

“To find the motivation to practice authentically, you must listen to the teachings, study them, and reflect on their meaning. These days, with our busy lives and students spread all over the world, this can be quite a challenge. So, I have worked with some of my students to create an online place for anyone with an internet connection to find guidance and support for their practice. I feel like this kind of effort is essential in today’s blazing fast world, so we can always find inspiration at the touch of a button.”

On February 18, a new Dharma Stream group consisting of 9 practitioners in Seville, Andalusia, members of the Asociación Bodhicitta Escola de l’Ésser, were able to follow Phakchok Rinpoche’s inspiring and motivating teachings.

If you live in the area and are interested in joining this group, please contact Mabel Cuevas at mabelgestalt@gmail.com.

First Dharma Stream meeting in Seville

“As suggested by my teacher, Xavier Puigdevall, I embarked on this new adventure. I didn’t give it a second thought. It was clear to me that collaborating in facilitating the Dharma was a solidary activity and an opportunity to practice Bodhicitta. The Dharma Stream teachings are not only applicable on an individual level, they are also adaptable in our daily life, socially. So, I am very happy to have brought together a nice group of people every fortnight to continue learning the Dharma with Phakchok Rinpoche’s guidance.”
