Drupchö In Rasuwa Led By Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche

Community Activity • Article

At the beginning of April, Phakchok Rinpoche traveled with a group of our monastic sangha to the Rasuwa District of Nepal, one of the 108 areas blessed by Guru Rinpoche.

The monks and lay people accomplished a five-day drupchö of the Tukdrub Barché Künsel and the Tukdrub Sampa Lhündrup cycles. A drupchö is an elaborate version of a chosen Vajrayana practice. It can last from three to eight days, only during the day, unlike a drupchen, which is a 24-hour ongoing practice session.

Additionally, one of our Tibetan medicine doctors (amchis) performed check-ups and distributed medicine to the locals.
