The Parinirvana of Kyabjé Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche

Today marks the anniversary of the parinirvana of Kyabjé Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche. Our friends at Monlam are collecting offerings to sponsor the Cremation of Kyabjé Rinpoche’s Kudung, you can make an offering here. Furthermore, the monks at Ka Nying Shedrub Ling monastery will be hosting an extensive Ocean of Amṛta (Ngakso) Pūjā at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery on December 25th, 26th, & 27th.
Kyapjé Tsikey Chokling Mingyur Dewey Dorje was born in 1953 as the second son of Kyapjé Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. He was recognized and enthroned as the 4th authentic incarnation of the great 19th-century treasure revealer, Terchen Chokgyur Dechen Zhikpo Lingpa by His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa, Rangjung Khyapdak Rikpé Dorjé. He was the father of Phakchok Rinpoche and Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche.
