New Year Update – Calligraphy from Rinpoche
A brief update on our fundraising progress: To date we have received donations from over 90 sangha members representing over $20,000 worth of donations. We are grateful to all for your continued support.
In support of the mission of Samye Institute, Phakchok Rinpoche has crafted a small number of pieces of calligraphy of the seed syllable HŪṂ (HUNG). This seed syllable is said to represent the awakened mind and is found in many mantras. We have included a snapshot of one of these beautiful pieces.
At the end of the Winter Fundraiser, we will be holding a drawing to determine the recipients of these special pieces. Everyone who donates to the Samye Winter Fundraiser will be entered in the drawing. The winners will be chosen randomly from an algorithmic based drawing. For each dollar donated, you will receive one entry into the drawing.
