Rinpoche’s Arm Analogy

  • Rinpoche’s Arm Analogy

This summer Rinpoche used his arm as an analogy where the shoulder represented ignorance and part of his arm represented judgment. I didn’t take good notes at the time. Can someone please fill in the rest of the analogy?

    Thanks, Bruce

    Hi Bruce,

when we sit to meditation we can see ours negative emotions, we have emotions because we have judment, judment because we believe in Self, and believe in self because we have ignorance (ignorance means we cant see the nature of mind).

when we look to emotion, ex: angry, try to see where is angry, why i have angry, because we have judment, and why we haeve judment, because believe in self, and where is self, when we try to find the self not exists and why we believe in self. Ignoranc

    and rest

    excusame my broke english

    Love
