During these times, these very challenging times it’s helpful to cultivate an appreciation of life. To find small moments, or gaps during the day.  Times when we stop, and breathe in. Pause, and take three conscious breaths.  This pause practice can transform your feelings and create a doorway to vastness and a sense of appreciation. Stop. Take a breath. Pause.

Phakchok Rinpoche says: “Just imagine space everywhere: no walls, no boundaries, buildings, nothing. Don’t start thinking about work, family, things you need to do. Simply imagine that everything is just like the vast, open sky, like empty space, and let your mind blend into the space so that it becomes just as vast and open… If you practice like that your mind opens up and then your way of thinking changes, just like that. You don’t have to believe me. Try it for yourself, you will see.
