Kevin Gormley, a life-long educator, is a former MS and HS teacher, performed health and science magic shows for school assemblies and is currently training NYC special ed MS and HS students to be literacy tutor/mentors to struggling elementary readers. The training includes mindful leaderships strategies for the tutors.

He has taught yoga in community and school settings and been a student of Buddhism for over 10 years at the Westchester Buddhist Center and as a Vajrayana student of Phakchok Rinpoche. He lives in Dobbs Ferry with his wife, Andrea, and Buster, their Black Lab. Their son, Erik, lives close by.
