MemberDecember 23, 2016 at 5:56 pm in reply to: Second Opportunity for Practice: Inspire Yourself Personal Mini-Retreatwell, I guess that this time I have missed my opportunity. 2 times I have began the retreat and in both of them I couldn’t continue. I hope there will be another chance, unless you will not limit the time in which the Mini-Retreat can be preformed.

MemberMay 27, 2016 at 3:11 pm in reply to: New Q&A with Phakchok Rinpoche – invitation to submit questionsDear Dharma Friends,
My question to Rinpoche is this: recently Rinpoche instructed us to recite 300 Dusom Sangye Prayers to Guru Rinpoche, and I am trying to follow his instruction to the best of my ability. Sometimes i cannot do the whole 300, but at least 100 recitations every day. My question is this: currently I am still doing my Ngondro, and it’s already consumes much of my <span style=”color: #3e3e3e; font-family: Arial; line-height: normal;”>strength. Is it ok to concentrate fully on the Ngondro to the expense of other practices?</span>
Thank you, Shlomo Santiparamita

Thank you very much for the invitation. Is this Mini-Retreat suitable also for Ngondro Practitioners?
With much loving kindness to all of you and the most Venerable Phakchok Rinpoche <3

I am reminding myself frequently that my present good conditions which are allowing to practice will not last long, so it’s better to raise my spirits and practice. Since I am suffering from a constant fatigue, at times I succumb to a strong desire to lay down and sleep. Sometimes I have the upper hand, at other times I am negotiating my condition and at other times simply cheating my self in order to practice, and then gaining the upper hand over my will to sleep 😀
Not very traditional maybe, but I am still on the track 🙂

MemberApril 24, 2015 at 4:49 pm in reply to: Teaching Topics for RinpocheDear Paul,
I am aware of these courses. I have requested these teachings because from various reasons I cannot travel to Nepal and attend them. Another thing is, that I don’t know exactly what course of teachings Rinpoche will tell me to take after I’ll finish my Ngondro. So I will attend the Sadhana Ritual Courses for the purpose of studying how to build visualizations for the Ngondro practice and when I’ll finish them Rinpoche might instruct me to take another path other than the Traditional Vajrayana…?
And again: since I cannot go to Nepal and since you have constructed this online platform and I am responding to the topic of (requesting) teachings topic to Rinpoche, I thought that maybe it will be possible to get the visualization instructions here…
Thank you very much for your attention and hopefully I am not bothering you…
Best wishes

MemberApril 23, 2015 at 7:49 pm in reply to: Teaching Topics for RinpocheI would like to have detailed, step by step instructions and explanations of constructing complex images of the Deities, their details and surroundings, and how to see them clearly, sharply and alive. This subject is very important to me. In short, I would like to learn everything there is to learn about visualizations. Thank you!

What do you mean by “You can choose your own dates (within a one-month period)”?
And–you wrote something about ‘accumulation counter’. I didn’t quiet understand how to begin the whole process and how do I access the accumulation counter…
and– the mini-retreat for how many days?
Goodnight. I am not thinking straight any more. Going to sleep 🙂
