Have finally started the path of meditation 2 and wow it is so good. It makes it so easy to feel fortunate when teachings such as these are available in our own home.

With regards to the guru yoga of simplicity, this is a sadhana that I started practicing a while back after Rinpoche gave the lung and encouragement to practice it. Getting a little confused as to whether I should visualize guru rinpoche, Tulku Urgyen( who i have never met but feel great devktion). Or Chokyi Nyima/ Phakchok above head both of whom I regard as my heart teachers. Any advice?

This was a wonderful opportunity to share in this q& a between Rinpoche and students. However it was very difficult to hear Rinpoche..his voice/ microphone is very low. Hopefully this can be amended. If not are there any willing vo,unteers able to transcribe his answers?

    But many thanks anyway.

Following my question about tsok offering  above i received a voice message from Sherab Ray who has had conversation with Rinpoche and he says the following ” It is ok to add Sampa Lhundrub feast offering prayer after mantra in concise daily practice.

you can chant 3,7.21 times as much as possible, it depends on your time.

then prepare food for feast offering and alcohol for the feast offering similar to what we did in Trinley Nyingpo chanting.

after the prayer you eat food and then go back to final part. With triple hung, hung, hung, and peh, peh, peh for completion stage and reemergence and then go for dedication and aspirations.”

    I hope this is helpful.

Returning to this subject. Am i right in thinking that one can recite the Concise daily practice and then following mantra recitation offer tsok by means of reciting the sampa lhundrub gathering offering a number of times( not sure how many is appropriate..3,7, 21?).. and then return to complete concise daily practice.

it would be great to hear a teaching from Rinpoche on this very important subject.

The ways Rinpoche explains and demonstrates supplication again and again has had a huge beneficial effect on my practice. Now it is incredibly meaningful and important for me to supplication the root and lineage gurus as well as Buddha’s and bodhisattvas……Now it is no longer muttering a few words that I have no connection to and understand very little. It is a living practice.
