Chotrul Düchen, Chinese New Year, and Losar were celebrated at the Guru Lhakang in Kuala Lumpur with 15 days of Triple Auspiciousness prayers and lamp lighting. Tsok offerings were donated to various charities. During that period, Medicine Buddha Day was made especially meaningful by the children of Jing Sun Welfare Society, who were invited to perform a lion dance at Guru Lhakang. The sangha offered lunch and red packets to the forty children who are residents of the Welfare Society. Full Moon on the unar 15th was celebrated with prayers, and lunch and concluded with a Sampa Lhundrup puja.
