This year, the annual Vajra Claw Dakini Puja took place from April 21-23 Western calendar (the 13th-15th day of the 3rd month of the Tibetan calendar) at Do-Ngak Ling Monastery, Nepal. Our monks recited the Vajra Claw practice from the Chokling Tersar and the Vajra Claw Sutra over the course of three days of puja concluding on the Full Moon Day.
Vajra Claw is a wrathful female activity dakini. The Buddha originally revealed Vajra Claw to be a powerful guardian and protector. Vajra Claw is invoked to this day to protect the practitioners’ domestic space, their family, friends, and allies and to avert any obstacles that might threaten them.
