Dear friends near and far

I apologize for the lateness of this Guru Rinpoche Day email. We have been on a pilgrimage for the past week and have been unable to send this until now due to WiFi issues. We were just at the Tharpaling monastery of my guru Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche and the WiFi was not strong enough to send this message.

I wanted to remind you to take the opportunity to practice because life is very precious, and don’t waste it on complaining, thinking nonsense, blaming others, or judging things that we like and don’t like. Just enjoy life! Bring up our correct motivation. We’re thinking about all of you: those who died and those who are sick. Please take the opportunity on Guru Rinpoche Day to practice. Mostly that means to be present, happy, in the moment, and with the right motivation. And honestly, don’t waste time by complaining, blaming, wandering, or not appreciating your life. Sending you much love, Happy Guru Rinpoche Day, and I am not forgetting all of you.

Sarva Mangalam,
