Reflections on the Annual Nyungné Practice

On the 7th and 8th of November, the monastic sangha at Do-Ngak Ling monastery performed two days of the Nyungné ritual fasting practice. The Nyungné is a practice from the Kriya Tantra collection focused on the 1000-armed Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. This practice is a powerful method to cleanse and wash away all our negative karma.

Many of our sangha chose to share in the merit of this puja by making offerings to support the monastics practice. We rejoice in their oceans of merit! You can already sponsor next year’s puja and submit names for dedication here.
