The Meaning of Retreat: A Teaching & Discussion
May 23 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm EDT
On the auspicious Full Moon Day of Saka Dawa, marking the commemoration of the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha, we invite you to join Tulku Migmar Tsering and the Samye community as we delve deeper into the significance and transformative potential of retreat within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
Facilitated by Matthew Zalichin, resident instructor at Samye Hermitage New York, Tulku la’s teaching will conclude with the opportunity for discussion and Q&A.
An excellent way to not only deepen our journey on the path, but to commit to practicing this path on this most auspicious of occasions, this event is free and open to all with interest. Zoom link will be sent upon registration.
